THE AUTHOR
An infectious love for GOD and His  WORD has been IDOWU ILUYOMADE’s distinguishing factor since becoming born again. Soon after his ordination and first pastoral assignment to pioneer King’s Court Chapel in 1995, the then 35-year-old ebullient pastor set his mind at positioning the young parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on the path of spiritual strength - by the Word.

Building the CHURCH by the Word is Pastor Iluyomade’s unquenchable passion. His unique style of teaching the word has deeply impacted members of the City of David parish - his present posting since 2007 - where the palpable interest in the word has kept Pastor Iluyomade’s project study of John’s Gospel on-going, over 10 years after it started at King’s Court.

Beyond being pastor of the City of David parish, Iluyomade is the pastor in charge of Lagos Province 4 of the RCCG and the head of the 'Apapa Family' of the Church. He is a distinguished solicitor and advocate; and the principal partner of Iluyomade & Iluyomade (Legal Practitioners). He is married to 'Siju, also a legal practitioner and pastor.
